Lauretta F. Lade, 65, of Benton, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at MercyOne Medical Center, Dubuque, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2022, at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wisconsin with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. Services will be live streamed through Facebook on the funeral home page. Burial will be in the Historical Benton Primitive Methodist Cemetery, Benton, Wisconsin. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9-10:45 a.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Lauretta was born on July 22, 1957 in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Verden and Clarice (Cook) Farrey. She graduated from Benton High School in 1975 and earned her associate degree from Southwest Technical College.

Lauretta was very proud to have worked in the Lafayette County Registrar’s Office for many years. She loved baking, cooking, and arts and crafts. Most importantly, Lauretta was a proud and loving mom to her daughters. She gave them all she could and supported them in their activities and life pursuits.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jennifer Lynnette (Justin) Robinson, Sydney, Australia, and Sarah Elaine Lade, Mesa, AZ; a granddaughter, Evelyn Robinson; four siblings, Barbara (Earl) Stodden, Cannon Falls, MN, Allan Farrey, Edina, MN, Ken (Sharon) Farrey, Benton, and Donald Farrey, Springfield, MO; and a sister-in-law, Vicki Farrey, Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harold (Sylvia) Farrey and Keith Farrey; and a sister-in-law, Gayle Farrey.

In lieu of flowers, a Lauretta F. Lade Memorial Fund has been established. Donations may be sent to the funeral home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.
