Dickeyville, Wisconsin Lillian C. Salzmann, 89, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott and Rev. Francis Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish rosary will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-9:45 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Lillian was born on July 11, 1925, in Grant County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gerhard and Lorena (Brink) Kaiser. She married Joseph "Joe" Salzmann on January 2, 1946, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1996. Lillian was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Lillian was always ready to go; whether it was going out to eat, playing euchre, or attending grandchildren's activities. On Tuesdays she went to the Dickeyville Community Center. Lillian was a fan of the Badgers, Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Cuba City Cubans. Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Steve) Breitbach, of Hazel Green, and Lois (Rod) Habel, of Downers Grove, Illinois; three sons, Dale (Julie) Salzmann, of Kieler, Bill (Bev) Salzmann, of Galena, Illinois, and Bob (Theresa) Salzmann, of Dickeyville; a brother, Merlin (Jane) Kaiser, of Dubuque; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kaiser, of Dubuque, and Lucille Kaiser, of Dickeyville; eight grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and 11 step great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Vince and Gerald, and two sisters, Esther Busch and Sr. Helen Kaiser, S.D.S. A Lillian C. Salzmann Memorial Fund has been established. Thank you to the staffs of Epione Pavilion and Mercy Medical Center and to Dr. Tom Sinsky.
