Linda J. Loeffelholz

Hazel Green, Wisconsin Linda J. Loeffelholz, 70, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at Meriter Hospital in Madison. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the United Methodist Church in Hazel Green with Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery in Hazel Green. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Linda was born on September 11, 1942, in Farmington, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert J. and Myra (Burrows) Schumacher. She married Donald J. Loeffelholz on April 29, 1967, at Sacred Heart Church in Dubuque. Linda liked spinning yarn, knitting, traveling, genealogy, and spending time with her grandchildren. She belonged to the Mayflower Society. Survivors include her husband, Donald; three sons, John D. Loeffelholz, of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, James D. Loeffelholz, of Eatonville, Washington, and Louis M. Loeffelholz, of Hazel Green; two grandchildren, Emily Jean Loeffelholz and Lauren Ann Loeffelholz; her father, Robert J. Schumacher Sr., of Nashua, Montana; four sisters, Louetta (Earl) Kurt, of Cascade, Iowa, Patricia (Kirk) Lee, of East Dubuque, Illinois, Pamela Myers, of Stockton, Illinois, and Penelope (Virgil) Schneider, of Montello, Wisconsin; three brothers, Robert J. (Ruth) Schumacher Jr., of East Dubuque, Illinois, John Henry Schumacher, of South Carolina, and James Michael Schumacher, of California; and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Loeffelholz, of Machesney Park, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Myra and Earl Rapp; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Bertha Loeffelholz; and a brother-in-law, Joseph L. Loeffelholz.
