Loraine “Rainy” A. Wubben, 74, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, in Hazel Green. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at St. Francis de Sales Church in Hazel Green with Rev. Cy Weisensel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Monday at the church before the service. Loraine was born on September 12, 1935, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth (Stockel) Wubben. She taught high school in the Racine, Dodgeland, and Shawano School Districts, and retired in 1990. Loraine was an avid Cub fan and enjoyed going to the casino. She also enjoyed traveling, and one of her favorite trips was to Ireland. Survivors include three sisters, Marie (Jim) Geiger of Madison, Nancy Sullivan, of Hazel Green, and Alice Fitzgerald, of Peoria, Illinois; two brothers, Melvin Wubben, of Ada, Michigan, and Will (Betsy) Wubben, of Hazel Green; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sisters in infancy; a sister, Mary Arlene Strub; two brothers, LaVerne Wubben and LeRoy Wubben; a sister-in-law, Dottie Wubben; and a brother-in-law, Joe Fitzgerald.
