Lorna M. O'Rourke

Cuba City, Wisconsin Lorna M. O’Rourke, 80, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, formerly of Downs, Illinois, died Sunday, December 4, 2011, at home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at St. Patrick’s Church of Merna in Bloomington, Illinois with Monsignor Gerald Ward officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bloomington. Friends may call from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Lorna was born on December 29, 1930, in Bellflower, Illinois, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Dunn) Yeagle. She graduated from Bellflower Township High School in 1948. Lorna married Tom O’Rourke on September 12, 1950. She was a certified nursing assistant at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois, for eighteen years. Lorna loved her faith, her family, her garden and her sewing. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Cuba City. Survivors include her husband, Tom; two daughters, Mary (Dan) Greil, of Cuba City, WI, and Nancy (Jim) Kasprzyk, of Schererville, IN; three sons, Tom (Annette), of Vincennes, IN, Tim (Annette) , of Torrance, CA, and Ted (Michelle), of Fort Knox, KY; two sisters, Evelyn Dwyer, of Lexington, IL, and Aileen Kemnetz, of Piper City, IL; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Marion, Ed, Bill and Ted Yeagle. The family wishes to express deepest gratitude to Hospice of Dubuque, Dr. R. Stille and his nurse Kelly, and Betty with Southwest Health Care for their kind compassionate care.
