Dickeyville, Wisconsin Lucille M. "Lu" Busch, 94, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. Services will be noon Monday, April 1, 2013, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott and Rev. Francis Steffen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Lu was born on May 30, 1918, in Jamestown Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Dalsing) DeMuth. She married George J. Busch on September 19, 1939, at St. Joseph's Church in Sinsinawa. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2002. Lu farmed with her husband. She was best known for her quilts and homemade bread. Lu loved to play cards especially euchre. She is survived by her children, Merlin (Janilda) Busch, Doris (Earl) Jansen, Janet (Tom) Timmerman, Bill (Jolene "Cookie") Busch, Dan (Joyce) Busch, Mary (Gary) McCartney, Jean (Bob) Vogt, Karen (Ron) Larson, Dale (Debbie) Busch, and Patty Mau; 32 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosalyn (Bill) Doyle; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn DeMuth. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sr. Ann Busch SSSF; her parents, Catherine and Joseph DeMuth; one sister, Margie Runde; five brothers, John, Alfred, Walter, LaVern and Clarence DeMuth; a grandson, Tim Busch; a great-granddaughter, Jolene Schaal; and a grandson-in-law, Rob Wilson. A Lucille M. Busch Memorial Fund has been established. The family of Lu would like to thank Epione Pavilion and Hospice of Dubuque for their outstanding care and compassion.
