Cuba City, Wisconsin Marcella M. Johll, 92, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died peacefully at home Sunday, January 30, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2011 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, in Cuba City, with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City, where the parish rosary will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call at the funeral home from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Friday morning before the service. Marcella was born on November 15, 1918, on the family farm in Little Grant Township, Bloomington Wisconsin, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Devlin) Brendemuehl. She married George Eugene Johll on November 15, 1937. She was a charter member of the Cuba City Lioness Club, and also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court # 4. Marcella was especially proud of her big family. She loved baking, canning, gardening, traveling with her family, and making everyone feel welcome in her home. Survivors include five daughters, Mary Johll, Martha Kreger, and Julie (Jack) Wiegman, all of Cuba City, Betsy (Mike) Klimeck, of Dubuque, Iowa, and Dorothy (Andrew) Campbell, of Poynette, Wisconsin; seven sons, John Johll, of Ixonia, Wisconsin, Gregory (Barbara) Johll and Paul (Diane) Johll, both of Cuba City, Robert (Jeanette) Johll, of Kieler, Wisconsin, Patrick (Jean) Johll, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, Bart Johll, of Cuba City, and Chris (Judy) Johll of Potosi, Wisconsin; a son-in-law, Mike Davies, of West Bend, Wisconsin; her identical twin, Margaret Gotto, of Bloomington, Wisconsin; three sisters-in-law, Frances Brendemuehl, of Bloomington, Wisconsin, Vivian Brendemuehl, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, and Dorothy Brothers, of Dubuque, Iowa; 54 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, George; three sons, Edward, Brian, and Phillip; a daughter, Bernadette Davies; a daughter-in-law, Judy Johll; a son-in-law, Terry Kreger; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Connolly, Southwest Health Center Nursing Home and the Physical Therapy Department, Julie Mowbray, and Grant County Hospice and nurse Kim for the care and love they gave our mother.
