Cuba City, Wisconsin Marian A. Rider, 70, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Unity Point Finley Hospital in Dubuque after a long illness. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Calvin Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Friday and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Marian was born on May 3, 1945, in Fennimore, Wisconsin, the daughter of Floyd and Alice (Cohen) Hore. She married Jerome Rider on December 15, 1962, at the Fennimore Methodist Church. Marian was a homemaker. Marian was very active in the Cuba City Lioness Club and Benton VFW Auxiliary. She loved to travel, especially to Branson, Missouri, and to camp at Potosi. She also loved to play cards, fish, attend family reunions and watch the Packers, Badgers and Atlanta Braves. Marian is survived by her husband, Jerome, and daughter, Bobbi Jo, both of Cuba City; one sister, Shirley (Ralph) Wienkes, of Fennimore; and many brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law; brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law.
