Cuba City, Wisconsin Marion E. Wallenhorst, 95, of Platteville, Wisconsin, formerly of Cuba City, died Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Sienna Crest Assisted Living in Platteville surrounded by her loving family. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 9-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Marion was born on October 8, 1922, in Jamestown Township, Grant County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ralph and Matilda (Jacobi) Northaus. She married Edwin "Ned" Wallenhorst on October 26, 1943, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. They farmed near the Cuba City area most of their life. After retirement, they delivered The Shopping News and later moved to Platteville. Marion was a 50 year member of the Potosi/Tennyson Branch of the Catholic Knights and the St. Rose of Lima Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and loved to make quilts and sew. Survivors include her sons, Ralph Wallenhorst, of Platteville, Robert (Marlene) Wallenhorst of Menominee, IL, Randy Wallenhorst, of Mt. Horeb, and Royce (Michelle) Wallenhorst, of Thorp; her daughter, Marilyn (John) Folmer, of Cuba City; two daughters-in-law, Susan Wallenhorst, of Platteville, and Marlena Wallenhorst, of Thorp; sixteen grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Roger and Raymond; two grandsons, Steven and Ryan; a daughter-in-law, Judy; her parents; two sisters, Eileen (Melvin) Oyen and Martha (LaVerne) Tranel; and a brother, Ervin (Evelyn) Northaus.
