Marsha Ann Schroeder

Dickeyville, Wisconsin Marsha Schroeder, 58, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin died Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012 at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:00-10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church before the service. She was born on April 12, 1954, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Hanson) Timmerman. She married Joseph Schroeder on May 18, 1974, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. Marsha had a big heart and she loved children, especially babies. She had a special connection with her God-daughter, Miranda. She loved to fish, travel up north, scrap book, and crossword puzzles. Marsha loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She took treats to the Holy Ghost kindergarten class on an almost weekly basis. She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two sons, Travis (girlfriend, Elizabeth Topp), of Dickeyville, and Matthew (Sara), of Madison, Wisconsin; her mother, Margaret Timmerman, of Dickeyville; four sisters, Meryl (Roger) Runde, of Cuba City, Marla (Doug) Leibfried, of Platteville, Maria (Tim) Pluemer, of Woodland Park, Colorado, and Melodee (Dan) Richard, of Dickeyville; a brother, Jason (Kate) Timmerman, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and three grandchildren, Trent, Sydney, and Carter. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry; two sisters, Mary Rose and Michelle; and a niece, Molly Leibfired. Special thanks to the nurses at Mercy ICU, the Jamestown First Responders, Dickeyville EMS, Mike Schauer of the Dickeyville Police Department, and Rev. Bernard Rott.
