Cuba City, Wisconsin Mary J. Dall, 79, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Southwest Health Center Hospital in Platteville, Wisconsin. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2017, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home before the service. Mary was born on April 26, 1938, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Albert and Mary Genevieve (Whaley) Galligan. She married David D. Dall on June 11, 1960, at St. Rose of Lima Church. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2006. Mary graduated from Cuba City High School in 1956 and went to St. Mary's Nursing School in Madison, WI and completed her nursing degree in 1959. She served the Cuba City area as a registered nurse for over fifty years. She loved her nursing career and the patients and families she was able to serve. She was always a quick phone call away for all family and friends regarding any health related issue. She had a special bond with many of her co-workers and her fellow graduates from St. Mary's. Her family was the light of her life, she adored her husband of 46 years and her four children, four grandchildren and her loving companion, Cleo. Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Jack) Zimmerman, of Cuba City, and Nancy Dall, of Minneapolis, MN; a son, Dan (Luann) Dall, of Whitewater, WI; four grandchildren, Charlie and Bob Dall, and Nicole and Drew Zimmerman; two sisters, Anne (Alan) Brewer, of Dayton, OH, and Margaret (Ron) Birkett, of Cuba City; a brother, Jim (Donna) Galligan, of Perry, IA; a brother-in-law, John (Tammy) Dall, of Minocqua, WI; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Galligan, of Cecil, WI, and Nancy Dall, Burlington, IA. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Laura Dall; and two brothers, Robert and Richard Galligan; a sister-in-law, Jane Galligan; and a brother-in-law, Bob Dall. A Mary J. Dall Memorial Fund has been established.
