Maxine L. Robson

March 17, 1927 — June 12, 2009

Pat was born on March 17, 1927, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Homer and Lois (Dent) Birkett. She married Thomas H. “Jack” Robson on August 3, 1946, in Galena, Illinois. Pat graduated from Cuba City High School and attended Bayliss Business College in Dubuque. She was the fastest typist in her class. Pat worked for the Fall River Canning Company and the Cuba City Hospital for the entire duration of the hospital. She thoroughly enjoyed going to Cuba City sporting events and going out for breakfast. Pat lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family get-togethers and loved her cats, Duke and Kit. Survivors include her husband, Jack; a daughter, Susan (Thomas) Straub, of McFarland, Wisconsin; a son, Tom (Mary) Robson, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin; two brothers, Paul (Mary Ellen) Birkett, and Ronald (Margaret) Birkett, both of Cuba City, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, John (Renee) Robson, Rod (Lynee) Robson, Hillary (Eric) McAuliffe, Andy (special friend, Marci) Robson, Scott (Lori Lynn) Straub, and Spencer (Angie) Straub; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Sam Straub, and a brother Donald “Roundy” Birkett. The family would like to thank the staff at Southwest Health Center, and Doctors Jeffrey White and Michael Connolly.
