Minetta F. Faust

Platteville, Wisconsin Minetta F. Faust, 78, of Platteville, Wisconsin, died Monday, September 3, 2012, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Platteville. Memorial Services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Ron Fladseth officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date. Minetta was born on March 24, 1934, in Barnum, Wisconsin, the daughter of Vernon Robert and Albertha Lavon (Holman) Adkins. She married Robert Willard Faust on May 22, 1955, in Boscobel. Minetta worked as a CNA at Orchard Manor Nursing Home from 1980 to 1990. She loved quilting, sewing, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She was a mom, when needed, to many of her children's friends. Survivors include her husband, Robert; four daughters, Robin M. Hall and Caryl K. Faust, both of Platteville, Rosalee E. (Terry) Walton, of Benton, and Dawn I. (John) Gard, of Platteville; a son, Vernon R. (Michelle Miles) Faust, of Gratiot; a brother, Holman Adkins, of Glasco, Kansas; twelve grandchildren, Joeliene (Marc) Meighan, Shayna Crabtree, Amanda (David) Walton-Hoeth, Searrah Hendricks, Theresa (Brandon Ingersoll) Walton, Alyciah Hendricks, Laura Engelke, Travis Atkinson, Tiana Faust, Trisha Faust, Jonathon Walton, and Heather Faust-Johnston;a great-granddaughter, Haileigh Hendricks; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Robert Adkins and Albertha Lavon (Holman) Adkins; her brothers, Ulysses, Carlos, Carl, and Merton; her sisters, Melva Hudson, Alida Ward, Addie Donahue, and Alyce Hines; a daughter, Evelyn Engelke; a son-in-law, Doris O. Hall Jr; a granddaughter, Tammy Jo Bausch; and a grandson, Dustin Joseph Robert Hendricks. In lieu of flowers, a Minetta F. Faust Memorial Fund has been established.
