Miriam K. Sullivan

Dubuque, Iowa Miriam K. Sullivan, 93, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, died peacefully on Saturday morning, June 29, 2013. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, July 1, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Dubuque. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Sioux City, where friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of local arrangements. Miriam is survived by her six children, Mary Sue (Paul) Rethinger, of Portland, Oregon, Tom, of Thornton, Colorado, Bob (Anita), of Dubuque, Pat, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mike (Sue), of Peosta, Iowa, and Mark (Jane), of Overland Park, Kansas; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. "Dick"; a brother, Mark; a daughter-in-law, Annette; and a grandson, Bobby. A Miriam K. Sullivan Memorial Fund has been established.
