Nancy was born on March 3, 1930, in East Dubuque, Illinois, the daughter of John and Ethel (Chapman) Farley. She married Joseph Hendricks on August 26, 1950 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in East Dubuque, Illinois. She was a graduate of St. Clara Academy, in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, and a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, in Hazel Green. Nancy was also a member of the Council of Catholic Women. She worked at Brown Publishing, and was a homemaker. She truly loved playing cards with friends and going out to breakfast. Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Tom) Radigan, of Osprey, Florida, and Diane (Martin) Hall, of Flossmoor, Illinois; five sons, John (Leslie), of Columbus, Ohio, Thomas (Pam), of Stoughton, Wisconsin, Jeffrey (Katie), of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Michael, of McHenry, Illinois, and Douglas (Archna), of Appleton, Wisconsin; three sisters-in-law, Lois Farley, of Dubuque, Iowa, Frances Hendricks of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, and Rita Hendricks of Michigan; and eleven grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; two brothers; and four sisters. In lieu of flowers, a Nancy M. Hendricks Memorial Fund has been established.
