Cuba City, Wisconsin Naomi I. Bowman, 91, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, formerly of Benton, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Benton with Pastor Dan Verdegan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Naomi was born on October 16, 1923, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank H. and Mary (Yedica) Reinke. She married G. Thomas Bowman on March 3, 1946. He preceded her in death. She graduated from West Bend High School in 1942. She was an outstanding archer and was the former Women's State Champion in the Wisconsin Field Archery Association five out of six years. Naomi loved the outdoors and loved to travel. She retired after twenty five years at the Cuba City Doctors Clinic. She was a very outgoing person and was loved by all who knew her. Naomi loved to sew and was a beautiful seamstress. Most of all she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (Ronald) Stephenson, of Dubuque, Iowa, and Naomi (Jan Bock) Laird, of Salt Lake City, Utah; a son, George Thomas (Pat) Bowman, of Verona, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Angela, Beth, Brooke, Wayne, and Brad; and six great-grandchildren, Michael, Austin, Brandon, Kailey, Cade, and Tyler. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. The family would like to thank the staff at Epione Pavilion and Park Place in Platteville for the wonderful care given to our mother.
