Benton, Wisconsin Neva E. Jansen, 61, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Lafayette County Manor in Darlington. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cuba City. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Neva was born on October 5, 1950, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Corliss “Packy” and Ruby (Lutes) Ferrell. She married Donald Jansen in March of 1985. Neva was a hard worker. She enjoyed her outings to the casino and visiting with family and friends. Neva especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Donald; two sons, Darrell (Sandy) Jansen and James Jansen, both of Benton; a stepson, Dan Jansen, of McFarland; two stepdaughters, Kelly (Rob) Parker, of Middleton, and Staci Jansen, of Monroe; two sisters, Janet (Jim) Smith, of Arena and Cheryl (Keith) Burris, of Darlington; a brother, Butch (Connie) Ferrell, of Janesville; and six grandchildren, Allyson, Nicholas, Lucas, Isabella, Cody and DeMarie. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ronna Dilley; and two infant brothers, Dean and Gary Ferrell. In lieu of flowers a Neva E. Jansen Memorial Fund has been established.
