Norma Jean Kruser

Dickeyville, Wisconsin Norma Jean Kruser, 74, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Tennyson. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church before the service. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Norma was born on December 27, 1937, in Kieler, Wisconsin, the daughter of Eugene and Agnes (Gerhards) Kaiser. She married Francis Kruser on October 19, 1957, at St. Andrew's Church in Tennyson. He preceded her in death in 1970. Norma enjoyed working at the Dickeyville Grotto and she also volunteered as a driver for Grant County. Norma was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Packers, Brewers and Badgers on television. She enjoyed quilting and was known for her delicious cookies. Survivors include a daughter Kim (Steve) Flesch, of Potosi; four sons, Tim (Denice), of Potosi, Greg (special friend Kashina Lam), of Maquoketa, Iowa, Joe (Karri), of Marion, Iowa, and Rick (Angie), of Potosi; two sisters, Mary Jane Lynch, of Mt. Horeb, and Pat (Doug) Moran, of Dubuque; four brothers, Marvin (Marlene) Kaiser and Tom (Mary) Kaiser, both of Dubuque, Don (JoAnn) Kaiser, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Gary (Sandy) Kaiser, of Potosi; ten grandsons; and a granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by a son Terry, in 1984, and her parents. A Norma Jean Kruser Memorial Fund has been established.
