Cuba City, Wisconsin Norma L. Zart, 88, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at UW-Hospitals & Clinics in Madison surrounded by her family. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2012, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Jeffrey Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Ridge Cemetery near Lancaster. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Norma was born on February 28, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Ellsworth and Nevada (Ellis) Levins. She married Walter Zart on April 11, 1942, at the Methodist Parsonage in Lancaster. They just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Norma loved cooking for her family and watching her birds, bunnies and squirrels. She spent many hours crocheting doilies. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Norma sold Avon for 22 years and took care of us all. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and good friend to all. Survivors include her husband, Walter, of Cuba City; her children, Louise Heiligenthal, of Belmont, Larry (Sharon) Zart, of Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin, William Zart, of Belmont, and Gale (James) Trewartha, of Hazel Green; a sister, Juanita Carpenter, of Lancaster; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jehiel Levins and Delbert Levins; a son-in-law, Robert Heilingenthal; and a daughter-in-law, Pat Zart. In lieu of flowers a Norma L. Zart Memorial Fund has been established.
