Cuba City, Wisconsin Patricia R. "Patti" Stanton, 48, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at UW-Hospitals & Clinics in Madison. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Monday at the funeral home before the service. Patti was born on September 13, 1969, in Pleasant Hill, Illinois, the daughter of Leroy and Shirley (Wintjen) Mutert. She married John Stanton on September 18, 2008, in Lancaster. Patti was a wonderful aunt, amazing sister and great friend to many. Her boys were her world. She especially loved children. Patti loved watching movies, coloring and was a big Disney enthusiast. Survivors include her husband, John, of Cuba City; two sons, Kacy Johnson, of Platteville, and Kameron Johnson, of Dickeyville; a daughter, Kayla Stark, of Darlington; a granddaughter, Remi Ann Ward; four sisters, Mary (Mike) Stymiest, Tondia Mutert and Karen Harris, all of Platteville; and Peggy (Jayde) Fischer, of Sidney, Montana; two brothers, Howard Mutert and Terry "T.J." Mutert, both of Platteville; her mother-in-law, Linda Rakow, of Cuba City; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a niece, Jayde Fisher; a grandnephew, Maddox Farrey; and her father-in-law, Johnny Rakow. A Patricia R. "Patti" Stanton Memorial Fund has been established.
