Peggy A. Welbes

Peggy was born on December 9, 1956, in Boscobel, Wisconsin, the daughter of Harold E. “Ham” and Dorothy M. (Randall) Beinborn. She married Roger Welbes on December 9, 2000, at their home in Dubuque. Peggy was a member of the Cuba City Lioness. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and karaoke. She especially enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Peggy’s favorite time was the holidays especially the Christmas season. Survivors include her husband, Roger, of Cuba City; her children, Heather (Steve) Johll-Johnson, of El Paso, TX, Kari (Patrick) McGlinn, of Indianapolis, IN, Georgia (Steve) Nitsos, of Rewey, Jackie Johll (Jesse Bell), of Galena, IL, Megan Soppe, Molly Johll, of Platteville, and Laura Johll, Kayla Johll, and Christian Johll, all of Cuba City; a step-daughter, Christina Welbes, of Dubuque; her parents, Harold “Ham” and Dorothy Beinborn, of Cuba City; two sisters, Pam (Larry “Stretch”) Freymiller and Kay (Dan) McWilliams, both of Cuba City; two brothers, Ed (Barb) Beinborn, of Mount Horeb, WI, and Dennis (Melissa) Beinborn, of Troy, IL; five grandsons, Christopher, Seth, Tanner, Dane and Brayden; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Paula Beinborn, and the father of her children, Phil Johll. The family would like to thank The Finley Hospital and nurses, Dr. Mark Hermann, UW-Hospital and staff in Madison, Dr. Longo, Hospice of Dubuque, and Missy Erschen for all of her special love and care for Peggy.
