Peggy J. Olson

Cuba City, Wisconsin Peggy J. Olson, 81, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cuba City. Friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Peggy was born on January 13, 1934, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (Mawby) Goss. She married Robert "Bob" Olson on June 11, 1949. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2005. Peggy loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events, especially wrestling matches. Peggy was the best cook and baker. She loved her gray cat Buffy. Survivors include two daughters, Becky (Mike) Reese, of Cuba City, and Bonnie (Terry) Hinderman, of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sons, Billy Olson, of Verona, and Danny (Patty) Olson, of Mt. Horeb; a sister, Ida Mae Best, of Eau Claire; two brothers, Leroy "Bud" (Violet) Goss, of Oxford, and Ralph (Sherry) Goss, of Eau Claire; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lillian Goss; two grandchildren, Marilee Olson and Tara Stevenson; a brother, Jack Goss; and three sisters, Beatrice Best, Ione Bosher and Darlene Sault.
