Dick was born on June 9, 1939, in Jamestown Township, Wisconsin, the son of Leroy "Bud" and Arlene (Runde) Burlage. He married Ruth A. Jansen on August 23, 1960, at Sinsinawa Mound. Dick was all about his family, immediate and extended. He was very proud of his kids and grandkids and loved learning about and sharing family history. He also enjoyed reading and was a huge sports fan, especially cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church Choir, and the Knights of Columbus #765. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Lisa (Mark) Pettera, of Prairie du Chien, WI and Michele (Dan) Ironmonger, of Oregon, WI; two sons, Kirk (Tricia) Burlage, of Oconomowoc, WI and Tim (Kim) Burlage, of Madison, WI; a sister, Jody (Orville) Brothers, of Kieler; two brothers, Harold Burlage and Jim "Moose" (Joan) Burlage, both of Kieler; sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Burlage, of Kieler, Mary (Jim) Rettig, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Lyn (Bill) Wagner, of Sun City West, Arizona, and Elaine (Jim) Droessler, of Cuba City; a brother-in-law, Ed Hendricks, of Hazel Green; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brian in 1971; his sisters, Jeannie Hendricks and Janice Smith; brothers, Tom, Jerry and "Jack"; and brother-in-law, John Smith Sr. A Richard F.
