Richard G. “Dick” Brewer, 70, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home before the service. Dick was born on April 14, 1940, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Hayden and Florence (Wiederhold) Brewer. He married Jacquelyn Peters on August 20, 1966, in Dubuque. Dick graduated from Cuba City High School in 1958. He worked at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works, retiring after 30 years. Dick liked to hunt and fish and enjoyed turtle hunting. He had a great sense of humor. Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn, of Cuba City and a sister, Shelia Brewer, of St. Paul, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents.
