Rita M. Hendricks

Cuba City, Wisconsin Rita M. Hendricks, 88, beloved wife of the late Omer R. Hendricks, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, formerly of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 28, 2011, Rochester Hills, Michigan. A memorial mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of local arrangements. Rita was born on August 31, 1922, in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin, the daughter of James and Catherine (Bauer) Welter. She married Omer R. Hendricks on June 15, 1948. Rita was a member of the St. Rose Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed dancing and euchre parties. She loved her grandchildren very much. Survivors include her children, Richard (Hannah) Hendricks, of Birmingham, Alabama, Susan (Cedric) Richardson, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and James (Theresa) Hendricks, of Baraboo, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a brother, Harold Welter, of Hazel Green; a sister-in-law, Frances Hendricks, of Hazel Green; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three children, Charles J. Hendricks in 1970, Stephen G. Hendricks in 1967, and a daughter in infancy; a brother, Joseph Welter; and a sister, Lillian (Oswald) Roth. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
