Rita M. Hinderman

Hazel Green, Wisconsin Rita M. Hinderman, 77, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at UW-Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home before the service. Rita was born on March 26, 1936, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clarence and Orpha (Gunderman) Runde. She married Vincent Hinderman on June 18, 1955, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1994. Rita was a caretaker for Vince while he was on dialysis for almost 22 years. She loved going in her camper to Florida and other trips, being with her grandchildren, and family reunions especially the Runde family reunion which was #1. Rita cherished her girl friends and liked NASCAR especially her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon, and playing cards with her card club and others. Rita was a member of the Holy Ghost Council of Catholic Women, the Dickeyville Rescue Squad Auxiliary, the Finley Volunteer Auxiliary and the Red Hat Ladies. Survivors include three sons, Daryl (Debbie) Hinderman, of Dickeyville, Dean (Cheryl) Hinderman, of Fort Myers, Florida, and David (Deanna) Hinderman, of Hazel Green; a daughter-in-law, Jill (Rocky) Hinderman-Skemp, of Platteville; two brothers, Leland “Buck” (Sally) Runde and Dale “Gus” (Shirley) Runde, both of Kieler; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Hinderman; a son, Dale A. Hinderman; her parents; two sisters, Arlene Burlage and Betty Pratt; a brother, Burnette “Bud” Runde; and a grandson, Brandon. A Rita M. Hinderman Memorial Fund has been established.
