Dickeyville, Wisconsin Robert H. "Bob" Klein, 87, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Southwest Health in Platteville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish rosary will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call Monday from 9-10:15 a.m. at the church before the service. Bob was born on April 3, 1931, in Potosi Township, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph H. and Laura (Langkamp) Klein. He married Dolores R. "Dolly" Wallenhorst on August 4, 1953, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. Bob served in the Air Force from 1951-1955 and was stationed at Hickam Air Base in Honolulu for three years from 1952-1955. He farmed from 1955-1980 and served as patrolman for Paris Township from 1979-2003. Bob enjoyed wood carving, completing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid reader. On his hobby farm he raised mink, fox, deer, emu, ostrich, rhea, chickens and ducks. Bob was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great-grandpa. He loved to tease his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Dolores "Dolly"; six daughters, Doris Kontos, Verona, WI, Sandy (Gary) Andrews, Cuba City, WI, Jean Brewer, Lancaster, WI, Mary Ann Douglas, Ripon, WI, Dianne (Cam) Silvers, Cobb, WI, and Julie (Paul) Blazkovec, Milwaukee, WI; three sons, Mike (Cindy) Klein, Bernard, IA, Jim (Michelle) Klein, Lancaster, WI, and Brian Klein, Dickeyville, WI; two sisters, Marcella Klein and Eileen Birkett, both of Dickeyville, WI; three brothers, Joseph Klein, Livingston, WI, Nick (Margie) Klein, Bloomington, WI, and Paul (Eevie) Klein, Strawberry, AZ; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby; three brothers, Francis, Vincent and Larry Klein; two sisters, Loretta Reuter and Donna Schoot; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A special thank you to the staff at Southwest Health and Medical Associates, Dr. White and Dr Kramer. Also an extended thank you to Angie Klein for her love and support throughout the years.
