Cuba City, Wisconsin Robert J. "Mac" McWilliams, 65, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home before the service. Mac was born on May 29, 1948, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Robert F. and Elsie A. (Pahnke) McWilliams. He managed Guler's Corner for about 20 years and then worked at US Cellular until last year. Mac liked hunting and fishing especially near Hawkins. He loved sports particularly the Packers and Badgers. He also worked a lot of crossword puzzles. Mac enjoyed life, loved people and could talk to anyone. He was a very smart person and a great businessman. Survivors include four sisters, Carol (Paul) Hendricks, of Cuba City, Jeanette (Ed Wand) McWilliams, of Galena, Illinois, and Marilyn (Edd) Roth and Patty (Jerry) Holt, both of Cuba City; and two brothers, Donny (Gail) McWilliams, of Cuba City, and Bill (Jenn) McWilliams, of Pewaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers a Robert J. "Mac" McWilliams memorial fund has been established. A special thank you to Bill and Dinah Hahn of Hawkins who opened up their home to Mac so he could enjoy the outdoors of northern Wisconsin.
