Bob was born on September 2, 1954, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the son of Eugene and Rita (Kaiser) Kowalski. He married Janet Martin on September 27, 1975, in Belmont. Bob will be deeply missed. He was a selfless family man who adored spending time with his grandchildren, Nora and Spencer. Being outdoors brought him joy, from his farming days to time spent hunting and fishing with family and friends. He especially cherished the time spent at "The Lodge" where he was a master chili stirrer. Bob didn't always catch the big one, but he always made up for it with stories, jokes and memories. Survivors include his wife, Janet; a daughter, Hillary (Brian) Cothroll, of Wauwatosa; a son Clint (Amy) Kowalski, of Watertown; two grandchildren, Nora and Spencer; his parents, Eugene and Rita Kowalski, of Cuba City; a brother, Dale (Becky) Kowalski, of Prairie du Sac; and four sisters, Mary Kay (Russ) Leonard, of Madison, Jane (Terry) Timmerman, of Dickeyville, Lori (Tom) Foht, of Germantown, and Nancy (Chris) Manley, of Muskego. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin, in 1977. In lieu of flowers a Robert "Bob" J. Kowalski Memorial Fund has been established.
