Robert W. Morrisard

Robert W. "Bob" Morrisard, 66, of Benton, Wisconsin, died Friday, July 25, 2014, at home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2014, at the United Methodist Church in Benton with Pastor Heidi Loomis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Benton. Friends may also call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday at the church before the service. Bob was born in Winner, South Dakota, on April 27, 1948, the son of John and Ruth (Fleming) Morrisard. He graduated from Hazel Green Union (Southwestern) High School and went on to serve in the US Navy. He served two years active duty and then joined the Navy Reserves. He served his country proudly in Viet Nam. Bob was married to Heather Frazer Symons on June 12, 2004. They were married ten happy years and both were thankful for their time together. Bob worked as a water treatment specialist for Rentech for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing, family, professional bull riding, NASCAR racing, the Brewers and Packers, camping and scooter riding. Bob is survived by his wife, Heather; his son and daughter-in-law, Cory and Nicole Morrisard, of Mt. Horeb; his daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Eric Mowry, of Benton; his grandchildren, Kali, Ethan, Josh, Nathan, Taylor and Sydney; his sister, Pat Johnson, of Fort Atkinson; two brothers, Terry Morrisard, of Tomah, and James D. Morrisard, of Fort Atkinson; and his nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth in 1973. The family of Robert Morrisard wishes to thank their many friends, Hospice of Dubuque, and Dr. Mark Hermann and staff of Dubuque Internal Medicine for their time, support and expressions of love during the past five years.
