Farrey, 73, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formerly of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Sunday, October 7, 2018, at St. Catherine's Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018, in St. George Cemetery in Kenosha. Rochelle was born in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, on March 24, 1945, the daughter of Bernard and Ladell (Richardson) Stockel. She married Robert E. "Bob" Farrey on June 27, 1964, at the United Methodist Church in Hazel Green. Rochelle was an amazing mother who always took care of the needs of her two children and their home in Hazel Green. This love carried through in her later years to her grandchildren and their friends as she watched and cheered them on, as she had done with her own children, from the front row of all of their activities; including soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis, theatre and dance. In Kenosha, and the surrounding area, she will be remembered as a beloved Nana to many of her grandchildren’s friends and once was even known as the "Soccer Mascot.” In her spare time Rochelle loved traveling, gardening, canning, and creating beautiful flower baskets. In her younger years she enjoyed golf, bowling, playing volleyball and softball, and nights at home playing cards or dominoes with friends. Rochelle will be remembered as a caring person who brought joy to a room. It wasn’t unusual for her to strike up a conversation with a stranger and leave with a new friend. She was always a presence in the lives of her family and all those she met. She will be deeply missed by many. Besides her husband Bob, she is survived by a daughter, Krista (Frank Jr.) Marrese, of Kenosha; a son, Jeff Farrey, of Waukesha, Wisconsin; three beloved grandchildren, Zachary, Alex and Emily, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Donald and Paul Stockel, and her beloved great-aunt and great-uncle, Betty and Floyd “Hezzy” Hall.
