Romona C. “Monie” Pinch, 89, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sinsinawa with Rev. Cy Weisensel and Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 4:00 p.m. Friends may also call after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Monie was born on October, 25, 1919, in Hazel Green Township, the daughter of Edward and Clare (Bertjens) Wiederholt. She married Elmer Pinch on June 4, 1940, at St. Joseph’s Church in Sinsinawa. He preceded her in death on February 9, 1999. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish and St. Joseph’s Christian Mothers Survivors include nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary “Mae” Lange, Lucille Wiederholt, and Loretta Middendorf; and a brother, Wilbur “Mike” Wiederholt. Thank you to the nurses and staff of Southwest Health Center for the excellent and loving care they gave to Monie since 2003.
