Rosalyn Vandenbusch

Cuba City, Wisconsin Rosalyn (DeKeyser) VanDenBusch, age 69, of Maplewood Glen Apartments in Cuba City, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 after a long illness. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Rev. Bill Vasey officiating. Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A funeral was held in Green Bay on October 19, 2013. Rosalyn was laid to rest at Mill Center Cemetery. She was born in Green Bay on December 19, 1943, daughter of the late Edmund and RoseMary (Dallas) DeKeyser. On September 4, 1964, Rosalyn was united in marriage to James VanDenBusch in Dubuque, IA. Rosalyn was first employed as a data processor at AC Nielsen in Green Bay, where she first saw and later married her beloved husband Jim. Rosalyn had a variety of jobs adapting to the changing times. She began her time at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) as a data entry processor and due to her skills later taught night classes. She ended her career as an administrative assistant for the maintenance department at NWTC. Rosalyn enjoyed working in her flower garden, scrapbooking, making jewelry and decorating hats. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Rosalyn dedicated many hours preparing and serving meals for the Homeless Shelter in Green Bay. She also served as a Sunday School teacher at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Later, she was a member of the Cuba City United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Dorcas Circle. Rosalyn was a “people person” and enjoyed the company of all whom she met. Rosalyn is survived by her loving husband, James; their daughter, Christine (Boris) Trifunovic; and two grandchildren, Alexander and Andrea Trifunovic. She is further survived by two sisters, Barbara (Michael) Gabryszek and Ann (Karl) Kralapp; and three nephews, Christopher and Gregory Gabryszek and Charles Kralapp. Besides her parents, Rosalyn was preceded in death by a sister, Priscella DeKeyser. The family would like to thank the staff of Epione Pavilion and Mercy Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion.
