Cuba City, Wisconsin Ruth B. Loring, 85, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died peacefully Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cuba City with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish wake service will be at 3:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:15-10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home before the service. Ruth was born on April 6, 1929, in Darlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Jacob P. and Bertha (Tuescher) Buschor. She graduated from Darlington High School in 1946. Ruth married Guerdon N. Loring on July 12, 1949, at Holy Rosary Church in Darlington. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2000. She loved working as a CNA at the Cuba City Nursing Home. Ruth loved playing cards with family and friends and watching her favorite TV shows, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and the Hallmark Family Channel. She was very proud of her Swiss heritage. Ruth was an avid Cubs, Badgers and Packers fan. She was a gentle soul who always found the good in others. Ruth never complained and was a devout Catholic whose faith carried her throughout her life. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who gathered at her home often on weekends. Survivors include her children, William A. Loring, of Montello, Wisconsin, Rose A. Beinborn, of Cuba City, Jane M. Loring, of Dubuque, and Matthew J. (Lori) Loring, of Platteville; a sister, Rita (Bob) Moore, of Fayette, Wisconsin; a brother, Robert (Patti) Buschor, of Darlington; a sister-in-law, Mary Buschor, of Darlington; thirteen grandchildren, Heather (Jim) Riley, Jeff (Derick) Loring, Joshua, Holly and Joseph Loring, Kim, Brian (Bridgette) and Brad Beinborn, Julie (Lee) Feldman, Kelly (Justin) Wenzelman, Steven (Katie) Leifker, Katie (fiance, Tim) Leifker, and Sarah Loring; and eight great-grandchildren, Brandon L. Loring, Daniel Esser, Emily Feldman, Jacob Wenzelman, Ethan and Kaylee Leifker, Max Regan, and Fletcher Riley. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel J. Loring; two brothers, Richard and Stephen Buschor; a son-in-law, Robert Beinborn; and a sister-in-law, Avis Buschor. A Ruth B. Loring Memorial Fund has been established.
