Cuba City, Wisconsin Ruth M. Andrews, 82, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 6, 2012, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, at the United Methodist Church in Cuba City with Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City. Friends may also call from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church before the service. Ruth was born on October 7, 1929, in Elk Grove, Wisconsin, the daughter of Lester G. and Pearl M. (Geyer) Booth. She married Paul R. Andrews on September 11, 1948, at the United Methodist Church in Cuba City. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2008. Ruth loved her family and looked forward to family gatherings. She enjoyed preparing special meals for her children and grandchildren. Ruth also had the pleasure of loving her three great-grandchildren. Ruth was a dedicated Avon Representative for over 50 years. She provided outstanding service to her loyal customers, whom she enjoyed for their patronage as well as their friendship. Avon recognized her for many lifetime achievements, including President’s Club. Ruth took great pride in exhibiting her life long love of cooking, canning and her well known roses and hand decorated eggs at the Belmont, Lafayette and Grant County fairs. She cherished her time on the farm and as a member of “Farm Frills” Homemakers Club. Ruth was an active member of the Cuba City United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Dorcas Church Circle and sang in the choir for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Dr. Nancy Andrews, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; two sons, Gary (Sandy) Andrews, of Cuba City, and Roger (Sue) Andrews, of Belmont; a brother, Donald (Lois) Booth, of Cuba City; nine grandchildren, Wendy, Dr. Matthew (Molly), Justin, Dr. Jennifer (Dr. Shawn Kendrick), Chelsea, Adam (Rachel Larson), Michael, Nicholas and Alexander; and three great-grandchildren, Braydon, Owen and Dempsey. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marion; and a brother, George. A Ruth M. Andrews Memorial Fund has been established.
