Cuba City, Wisconsin Salena C. Hinderman, 88, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Epione Pavilion in Cuba City. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Cuba City with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call 3-8 p.m. Saturday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish and Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary will be at 2:45 p.m. Friends may also call from noon-1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home before the service. Salena was born on November 22, 1924, in Jamestown Township, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph C. and Emma (Dalsing) Brant. She married Harold J. Hinderman on July 19, 1950, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kieler. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2005. Salena was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #4. Salena was a farm wife and homemaker. She enjoyed reading, doing embroidery, going on road trips and going to lunch with friends. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Larry (Gay) Hinderman, of Cuba City; two daughters, JoAnn (George) Hoppenjan, of Kieler, and Nancy (Lee) Esser, of Dodgeville; ten grandchildren, Matt Hinderman, of Ysiplanti, MI, Mark (Sarah) Hinderman, of Kaukauna, WI, Maggie (Lou) Langkamp, of Benton, Melinda (Mike) Robinson, of Appleton, WI, Troy (Awa) Hoppenjan, of Madison, WI, Ross Hoppenjan, of Denver, CO, Nina (Ben) Heinzen, of Oshkosh, WI, Lindsey Hoppenjan, of Steubenville, OH, Nate (Renee) Geyer and Nick (Kari) Geyer, both of Cuba City; twelve great-grandchildren, Josephine, Hailey and Olivia Hinderman, Genna and Isabell Langkamp, Vincent Hoppenjan, Evelyn and Zoe Heinzen, Abby and Benjamin Geyer, and Landon and Greyson Geyer; four sisters-in-law, Florence Pahnke, of Cuba City, Henrietta Jones and Katie Klinger, both of Platteville, and Luella Brant, of Kieler; and a brother-in-law, Jim (Ellie) Hinderman, of Platteville. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Melvin Brant; a grandson, David Geyer; a half sister, Lorena Wiederholt; six brothers-in-law, Walt and Ray Hinderman, Al Tashner, Hank Pahnke, Merle Jones and Paul Klinger; and two sisters-in-law, Marie and Irma Hinderman.
