Sharon L. Bodell

Hazel Green, Wisconsin Sharon L. Bodell, 70, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at Midwest Medical Center in Galena, Illinois. Private family services will be held at a later date. Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City is in charge of arrangements. Sharon was born on October 11, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth and Betty (Niblack) Gaber. She married Richard W. Bodell on September 8, 1962. Sharon worked as an X-ray technician at Medical Associates Clinic in Dubuque. Later she worked jointly with the Hazel Green Lions Club in starting the Hazel Green Public Library. Sharon enjoyed a good laugh, friends and games. Quilting was a favorite pastime. Survivors include her husband, Dick; a daughter, Betsy (Charles) Wiebke, of Dubuque; a sister, Joann Buetell, of Denver, Iowa; a brother, Kenneth Gaber, of Elk River, Minnesota; and two grandchildren, Emma and Grant Wiebke. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara; her parents; and a grandson, David Wiebke.
