Dickeyville, Wisconsin Sharon P. Mathias, 70, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, died Friday, October 19, 2012, at home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville with Rev. Bernard Rott officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 p.m. Monday at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where the parish and Catholic Daughters wake service will be at 1:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the church before the service. Sharon was born on December 19, 1941, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Matilda (Koresh) Meyer. She married Victor A. Mathias on July 23, 1988, in Dickeyville. Sharon was a very compassionate and sharing wife, mother, sister and friend who always had open arms, a warm heart and loving hands. Her faith in God was an integral part of her life. She loved to cook, bake, shop and ride the trolley in Dubuque. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #4. Survivors include her husband, Victor; two daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" (special friend, Eddie Korbach) Hessel, of New Ulm, Minnesota, and Lisa (Michael) Mohr, of Winona, Minnesota; a stepdaughter, Carla, of Lancaster; three sons, Donald J. (Michelle) Hessel, of Eau Claire, Larry (Lisa) Hessel, of Dubuque, and Robert "Bobby" Mathias, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one sister, Sister Joan Meyer, of Dubuque; two sisters-in-law, Pamela (Floyd Jr) Gillen, of Kieler, and Michelle (Robert) Schmitz, of Potosi; a brother-in-law, Jim Mathias, of Richland Center; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Lawrence Meyer.
