Sherry Lynn Dean, 63, of Kieler, Wisconsin, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City where a service will be held at 7 p.m. with Deacon David McGhee officiating. A private burial will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Kieler. Sherry was born on February 11, 1947, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Ralph and Leora (Dull) Liddle. She married Dorrance Dean, the son of Donald and Irma Dean, on June 11, 1966. Sherry will be remembered for her many years of dedicated service in caring for the handicapped. She worked at Luther Manor and A.R.C. (Area Residential Care) and loved playing bingo. Survivors include her husband Dorrance; a daughter, Deb (Joe) Darosh, of WA, a son, David (Stacy ) Dean, of Cuba City; her mother, Leora Liddle, of Dubuque; two sisters, Beverly (Bruce) Oestreich, of Dubuque and Linda (Terry) Slater, of Platteville; a brother, Larry (Lori) Liddle, of Dubuque; four grandchildren, Jenny, Matt, and Courtney Hefel, Brody Dean, and one on the way; four great-grandchildren; and her dog, Parker. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Liddle; her in-laws, Donald and Irma (Burbach) Dean; and a nephew, Mike Slater. The family of Sherry Dean would like to thank Home Care For You, especially Katrina and Karen; her neighbors, the Oberbroeckling’s; and Dr. Manzel. A Sherry Lynn Dean Memorial Fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
