Tony R. Timmerman

December 29, 1972 — May 9, 2024

Kieler, Wisconsin

Tony R. Timmerman, 51, of Kieler, Wisconsin, passed away at MercyOne Dubuque on Thursday, May 9, 2024. Even in our tremendous sadness, we take comfort in knowing that Tony’s final act of kindness was to be an organ donor. Visitation will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wisconsin, where there will be a Parish Scripture Wake Service at 3:45 p.m. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Church Cemetery, Dickeyville, Wisconsin.

Tony was born on December 29, 1972, in Dubuque, Iowa, to Lawrence “Larry” and Donna “Dot” (Leibfried) Timmerman. He graduated from Cuba City High School in 1991.

Tony was dedicated to many things. He spent countless hours in a tractor, which he loved for many reasons, but at the top of the list was so he could feel close to his dad. Tony also had a great passion for cooking, whether that be down at Gooch’s Greenhouse or for his family gatherings. If you couldn’t find him, a good place to check was always his Garage Mahal. Above all else, Tony loved his family. He loved spending time with everyone he loved in a variety of ways. Whether that be sitting at a bar having a drink, on the river, or at a tractor pull, he always kept good company.

Tony is survived by his three children, Tanner (Simon) Howell, Platteville, WI, Lillian Timmerman, Madison, WI, and Tyson Timmerman, Cuba City, WI; their mother, Carolyn Timmerman, Cuba City, WI; three sisters, Rhonda (Scott) Nowakowski and Renae (Eric) Burchardt, both of Milwaukee, WI, and Roxanne (Brian) Hartl, Hazel Green, WI; three brothers, Tim (Vickie) Timmerman, Potosi, WI, Todd (Paula) Timmerman and Ted Timmerman, both of Dickeyville, WI; along with many nieces and nephews and a growing number of great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family wishes to thank the EMT personnel and gracious staff at MercyOne Dubuque.
