Cuba City, Wisconsin Vivian Brendemuehl, 96, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home in Cuba City. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Cuba City United Methodist Church with Pastor Debbie Pimm officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, also in Cuba City. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday at the church. Vivian was born on September 7, 1915, the daughter of Charles and Ethel (Garthwaite) Jeidy. She married Walter Brendemuehl on February 10, 1940, in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1974. Vivian was a charter member of the Esther Circle at the Cuba City United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker who liked cooking family meals, gardening, and playing cards. Vivian greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, and farm life was very important to her. While Vivian loved living in her home, she also enjoyed her time at Southwest Health Center Nursing Home because of the excellent care she received there. Survivors include a daughter, Luetta (Gary) Jones, of Sister Bay and Platteville, Wisconsin; a son, Jerry (Dianne Barr) Brendemuehl, of New Glarus, Wisconsin; sisters-in-law, Margaret Gotto and Frances Brendemuehl; eight grandchildren, Bart Brendemuehl, Elisabeth Jones, Tara Edge, Benjamin Jones, Ryan Brendemuehl, Casey Brendemuehl, Eric Brendemuehl, and Emily Brendemuehl; and ten great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Belva Knapp, Violet Kinney, and Genevieve Stark; and two brothers, Melvin Jeidy and Adolph Jeidy.
